Keith Martin the owner of Personalized Pet Care had a keen interest in animals from an early age during his teens Keith worked in various animal related jobs ranging from pet shops to kennels and stables.

To develop his interest into a career he went to study at Barony College Dumfries passing HNC Animal Care then HND in Animal Care and Management in 2003, Keith started Personalized Pet Care the same year.

He saw a gap in the market for quality, competitively priced wild bird and pet products, starting with a market stall at the mid steeple Dumfries. He also developed a simple home delivery service providing quality products at affordable prices throughout Dumfries & Galloway in south west Scotland, which has proved very popular especially with the elderly and disabled.

This service also makes it simple and very cost effective to bulk buy without the problem of getting heavy goods home.

Keith is now pleased to be able to extend his business and offer these products to the whole of the country via the internet.

The dog featured on this website is our own family pet, she is a five year old Curly-coated Retriever called Calli, of the retrieving breeds the curly-coat is one of the oldest derived from crossing the Irish Water Spaniel, poodle and Labrador.

It has an ability to mark the fall of game and remember its  location, and is reputed to be brilliant at retrieving wounded duck which lies hidden in rushes or in water. Although Calli's favourite pastime is retrieving sticks!!
